This full-bodied white wine has the typically spicy, floral nose associated with the best of traditional Traminers. The nose implies sweetness, and the ripe  flavors of citrus and lychee seem to confirm the sensation. Surprise! The finish is long, clean, bracing and DRY.

The 2006 Mosby Traminer is a wonderful accompaniment to spicy Asian dishes including curries, Thai food and sushi, but pairs well with smoked meats and turkey as well. We at Mosby Winery enjoy Traminer at the end of the day as a refreshing sipper shared with friends and lively conversation.

Traminer wines originated in the Alto Adige region of northern Italy. The warm summer days and chilly nights of Santa Barbara County provide the same distinctive growing conditions that produce the fragrance and flavor so characteristic of this tradtional dry style of Traminer.
