Mosby Cortese

The 2006
Mosby Cortese is
Bill
Mosby's
fourth
release of this delightful Cal-Italia wine, made from
estate-grown fruit. Light and clean, the soft floral nose is
followed by flavors of citrus and apricot with a crisp, mineral finish.
Bill Mosby was the first winemaker in Santa Barbara county to release
Cortese wine, and is one of only a handful of producers in California. Cortese
grapes are made into the wine known as Gavi in the Piedmonte region of
northern Italy.
The 2006 Mosby Cortese
features
beautiful label art by Italy artist Robert Scherer of Appiano. |
Enjoy this wine with chilled
shellfish, grilled fish steaks, or cheeses. Wonderful as a hot weather sipper. Molto eccellente!
