| The
2004 Mosby La Seduzione
is Bill's fourth release of
this rare Cal-Italian varietal. The Lagrein grape is named after the
Lagarina Valley of Trentino, although it is now primarily grown at Gries
on the outskirts of Bolzano.
An extremely rare grape in the United States, we
know of only a handful of vineyards in California. Bill was able to
procure these grapes from the French Camp Vineyard.
This velvety violet colored wine
offers aromas of dark plums, cocoa and wild wood mint. The rich mouth feel
and flavor of ripe black currants finish with soft tannins.
Enjoy this wine with rich red meat or mushroom-based
dishes, such as roasted prime rib, Porcini risotto or stroganoff.
The label art is by Italy artist Robert Scherer who
also created the Mosby Pinot Grigio, Cortese, Traminer, Dolcetto, Rosato di
Sangiovese, and Teroldego labels. Great wine combined with great art results
in visions of taste
